Marliese Hertfelder

Born and brought up in Germany, she qualified with distinction as a fine cabinet-maker with skills in Marquetry. In 1981 she moved to Ballyhaunis and with my husband Udo have been living there ever since.

In 2006 she received a BA after attending a year part-time course in Art, Design MGIT, Castlebar Campus.

Her emphasis as a practicing artist is on print-making. She has shown in numerous group shows and had a solo show in Ballina Arts Centre. her work is held in private and corporate collections.
